Pediatric Vent Certification

This is a two-part course for pediatric ventilator certification. It includes an online study course and a four-hour classroom skills checkoff.

The online course takes from 3 to 10 hours to complete, but it does not need to be done all at once. It consists of self-paced learning lessons that include:

  • Information about the topic with details about key concepts.
  • A lecture and learning activities that apply concepts from the lecture.

NOTE: Do not register for this course if you have already purchased an online course from the UW-Madison School of Nursing. We will only schedule skills checkoff classes for individuals who purchase the online course from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (through www.maxishare.com).

The registration fee is $175.00. (Minimum 3 and maximum 6 participants per class.) Classes fill up quickly, so register early. No additional classes will be scheduled if classes are full.
